Tucked away beside the picturesque railway walk on Ashes Lane in Springhead, Move & Heal Studio offers small-group yoga classes designed to help you slow down, strengthen, and feel more at home in your body.
Founded by Occupational Therapist and certified Yoga Therapist Sophie Coggins, the studio combines evidence-based wellbeing practices with a warm, grounded and deeply personal approach to teaching.
Thoughtfully renovated from a former horse stable into a peaceful wellness space, the studio features elegant herringbone flooring, soft natural light, and a carefully curated atmosphere where visitors instinctively exhale upon entering.
A calming start to the week using grounding movement, gentle stretches, and mindful breathwork to help release tension, regulate the nervous system, and create space to reset.

Beginners are welcome at all of Move & Heal's sessions. Yoga is an individual practice often taught in a group setting. Sophie teaches person centred Yoga by guiding students through a supportive practice with plenty of options and modifications to empower you to find what feels right for you.
Sophie teaches in person at Greenfield Methodist Church on monday mornings & afternoons and at Move & Heal Studio in Springhead monday and wednesday evenings, and friday mornings. Visit the 'timetable' tab on this website for full sessions across different sites. Sophie has some free meditations and videos available on YouTube and Spotify.
The studio is a safe, clean and peaceful space that is dedicated to making you feel comfortable to practise Yoga. All of the necessary props and equipment; including mats, blocks, bolster, straps, yoga balls, resistance bands, eye pillows and blankets are provided... so you can simply just show up. In the colder weather should you wish you can bring your own blanket, a pair of snuggly socks, a cosy jumper and your water bottle to keep hydrated. Loose, comfortable clothing [especially around the tummy area] are recommended.
Yes, there's ample free parking next to the railway walk on Station Street on the left hand side. Please park here as it is less than one minute walk to the studio on Ashes Lane and it will not impact the local residents parking at their homes.
Simply ring the doorbell of the studio address on attendance. Number revealed on booking confirmation email.
Sophie's schedule varies so arrive between 10-2 minutes before the session is due to start. This way she can guarantee she will be there to let you in to the Studio and you will have time to set up your equipment for the class. We always start with a meditation, please do not arrive late as this disturbs other peoples experience.
Yes, it's imperative. Click the 'Book your space' button below. Once you have booked on if cancellations occur due to unexpected circumstances / sickness or annual leave you will receive an email.
