Amy Jones, Sophie's Pregnancy, Post Natal, Mum and Baby Yoga Teacher and mentor has over 25 years of experience in education and has been in the Yoga industry for over 15 years. Here's Amy's feedback on Sophie's Post Natal & Mum and Baby Yoga:
"Thank you for your post-natal class: Every single woman who has had a baby or has pelvic floor issues should buy this content. You really show a detailed understanding of the therapeutic application of Yoga in pelvic floor healing, the interconnection between pelvic floor, posture, back pain, diastasis recti and how certain movements will help to restore, heal and reconnect and that gets reflected back brilliantly in the class. There's an undercurrent of understanding, nurturing, compassion, nervous system regulation... it's all interconnected, it's not that the response to the pelvic floor is separate from how we are feeling and how settled the nervous system is. You start your video explaining the impact of pregnancy, it’s educational; your knowledge and excellent understanding of pelvic floor [issues], back pain, diastasis recti, exhaustion and how they all interlink and how Yoga can therapeutically heal. I just love what you said, ‘the breath is the bridge between the nervous system and the body’, and that comes through in your teaching as well. You also went into the psoas, relaxing the core, sighing out of the breath. You were relatable… You’re meant to be doing this: It’s a non-negotiable, you have to be out there sharing this information!"
Sophie is a qualified Occupational Therapist who spent over 10 years in the NHS grading and adapting functional movements to empower patients she treated. She combines a wealth of clinical experience with Yoga as a therapeutic tool to support people in their experience of health conditions.
Sophie says:
"I’m so passionate about Yoga being a source of grounding, strength and connection—not just during pregnancy, but especially in the months that follow. My style of yoga blends science with spirituality. It’s softening, strengthening and stabilising: all essential qualities in the journey of postnatal recovery and mothering. Whether you're navigating your own healing or simply craving a moment to breathe and connect with your baby, my practices are here to support you. I'll share everything I’ve learned so far—weaving in magic and logic in equal measure. Please drop me an email if you have any questions about the sessions. I can’t wait to meet you and maybe your baby—wherever you are on your journey."
