Pregnancy Yoga Classes

Mondays | 18:00 - 19:00

Fridays | 10:00 - 11:00


Location: Move & Heal Studio, Springhead


A supportive and nurturing pregnancy yoga class designed for the second and third trimester to help you feel stronger, calmer and steadier as your body changes. 


Suitable from after your dating scan onwards. 


Prior to this stage, current recommendations are to rest and be kind to yourself.

What to Expect

We focus on gentle movement, nourishing shapes, appropriate breath work, relaxation, optimal fetal and labour positioning and supportive mantras to help you connect with your baby and mentally prepare for birth of baby.


Mats and props are provided, including bolsters, eye pillows, small yoga balls, spiky massage balls and resistance bands.


Prior to attendance please purchase, pump up & bring an anti-burst Swiss yoga ball (55cm or 65cm depending on your height and personal preference), a bottle of water, and cosy socks or a warm jumper during colder months.


You are still welcome to attend without a Swiss ball, and adaptations will always be offered, though it is strongly recommended as we use it regularly throughout class.

Meet Sophie

 Sophie is a qualified Occupational Therapist who spent over 10 years in the NHS grading and adapting functional movements to empower patients she treated. She combines a wealth of clinical experience with Yoga as a therapeutic tool to support people in their experience of health conditions. 


Sophie says:

"I'm so passionate about Yoga being a means to not only support you in your pregnancy but in your baby's birth and beyond too. My style of Yoga can be described as science meets spirituality. It's softening, strengthening and stabilising: All essential in your journey through pregnancy. I'll share with you all I have learnt so far weaving in magic and logic in equal measure.
